Adam Shapiro
Chief Executive Officer
A founding member of Breakthrough Technology Group (Established 2007) and served as the company’s Chief Technology Officer since January 2012. Under Mr. Shapiro’s guidance, Breakthrough Technology Group experienced consistent growth and was able to provide over 65 full-time jobs to members of the community. The company was successfully sold in 2018 to NexusTek.
Mario Lalima
Chief Financial Officer
Mario over the last 34+ years has successfully built a 50+ employee Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing service business. Along the way Mario has obtained ownership in may other successful businesses. Pool and Spa's Service of Manalapan and a real estate investor. With all this knowledge, experience and success, Mario is entering into the cannabis industry with Garden State Born.
Jaime Musacchio
President
A serial entrepreneur and will serve as the Garden State Born, LLC President. Jamie started her first beauty and fashion company, Victoria’s Professional Salon Products LLC, at the age of 20. Having successfully scaled and sold her business while raising her children. Throughout her motherhood, Jamie went on to successfully found two more businesses.
Lisa Gora
Chief Legal Counsel
Lisa currently serves as the co-chair of the Cannabis Law Team and shareholder in the Corporate and Health Law teams at Epstein, Becker & Green. Ms. Gora’s track record of providing legal, consulting, and regulatory support to cannabis operators and stakeholders throughout New Jersey helps ensure that all of Garden State Born’s operations are conducted in absolute compliance with all State and Local cannabis regulations.
